Opinions on the glider LAK-17B from the EGC-2011 pilot G. Butnorius

During the championship fortunately had some time to fly with the leaders and compared glider with ASG-29, JS-1, Ventus 2cxa in different speeds with full ballast. I was pleasantly surprised to find that your production sailplane LAK-17B just as good, but is very important to use the flap position at different speeds and of course the pilot's ability to utilize the power of clouds. Write what tried the best flap position with water ballast at different speeds:

  • 100 to 120 km / h in claiming used a "+3"
  • 120 to 140 km / h conversion "+2" (there are intermediate positions)
  • 140-160km / h passes "+1" (there are intermediate positions)
  • 160 to 180 km / h passes a "0" (there are intermediate positions)
  • to 180 and more km / h conversion "-1"
