We are pleased to announce that Sportinė Aviacija ir Ko has received Major Change Approval from EASA for the LAK-17A FES. This important milestone enables both existing LAK-17A and the LAK-17AT gliders to be retrofitted with the proven Front Electric Sustainer (FES) system.
This latest approval represents a full-circle moment for the program. It not only reinforces the maturity of the FES system but also significantly expands access to electric propulsion solutions across the LAK fleet.
Operators of earlier LAK-17A and LAK-17AT models can now benefit from modern, efficient and reliable propulsion technology through certified retrofit options.
